FAQ
What is ASL Market?
ASL Market (asllmarket.org) is a B2B marketplace where foreign buyers buy from Iranian manufacturers and exporters. Its sister site, asllmarket.ir, serves the Iranian domestic market, and sellers' listings there sync to asllmarket.org.
Which languages does the site support?
ASL Market is available in English, Arabic, Russian, Chinese and Persian. Chat messages with suppliers go through the site.
Can I buy products listed on asllmarket.ir?
Sellers' listings on asllmarket.ir, the sister site for the Iranian domestic market, sync to asllmarket.org. You see them on asllmarket.org and buy through the same chat, confirmation and escrow steps.
How do I buy a product?
Open a listing and chat with the supplier, or post a buying request. The supplier confirms price, quantity, freight, Incoterm and ship-by date, and then you pay. After delivery you confirm receipt or open a dispute.
How does a buying request (RFQ) work?
Post what you need at /post-request: product, specification, quantity, packaging and destination. Suppliers can answer you through the site, and you continue the discussion in chat. The more precise your specification, the easier it is to compare answers.
What should I put in a buying request?
State the product, grade or specification, quantity, packaging and labelling, destination port or city, preferred Incoterm and the date you need the goods. Add the documents and lab tests your market requires. Precise requests get comparable answers.
How do I pay?
Payment is in USDT (Tether) today. More payment methods are coming soon. You pay only after the supplier has confirmed the price, quantity, freight, Incoterm and ship-by date.
What is ASL Secure Pay?
ASL Secure Pay is ASL Market's escrow. ASL Market holds your payment until you confirm that you have received the goods. This gives you time to check the delivery before the order is closed.
What happens if I do not confirm receipt?
If you neither confirm receipt nor open a dispute, receipt is confirmed automatically after a set period. Check the goods promptly after delivery, and open a dispute within that period if something is wrong.
What if the goods do not match the order?
Open a dispute before you confirm receipt, with photos, documents and any inspection or lab reports. ASL Market decides the dispute, and the decision can include a partial refund.
What should I check when the goods arrive?
Count the packages against the packing list, photograph the goods and packaging, and check quality against the agreed specification before you confirm receipt. If something is wrong, open a dispute with your photos and documents while the payment is still held.
How is freight charged?
The supplier checks the freight cost for your order and adds it to the invoice before you pay. What freight covers depends on the agreed Incoterm.
Which Incoterms are used?
Common terms with Iranian suppliers are EXW, FOB (for example FOB Bandar Abbas), CFR and CIF. The supplier confirms the Incoterm with every order. See /guides/incoterms-for-iranian-exports.
How are goods shipped from Iran?
Sea freight usually leaves from Bandar Abbas (Shahid Rajaee), often with transshipment via Jebel Ali. Rail serves China and Central Asia, and the Caspian ports and the INSTC corridor serve Russia. Light, high-value goods such as saffron often go by air. See /guides/shipping-routes-from-iran.
Can I order samples?
Ask the supplier in chat. Terms vary: some samples are free with courier paid by the buyer, others are charged. See /guides/ordering-samples-from-iranian-suppliers.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Each supplier sets its own MOQ, which depends on the product and packaging. Check the listing and confirm the MOQ in chat before you agree the order.
Which documents will I receive?
Typical export documents are the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading or other transport document. Food and plant products may also need a phytosanitary certificate, health certificate or lab analysis. List what your customs needs before the supplier quotes. See /guides/export-documents-from-iran.
Can I see the supplier's phone number or e-mail?
No. Messages go through ASL Market and contact details stay private on both sides. All agreements and photos stay in the chat record.
What does the «Verified» badge mean?
A «Verified» badge means the store has at least two live listings with photos, or documents checked by ASL Market. It is not a factory audit, a quality certificate or a guarantee.
Does ASL Market inspect goods or guarantee quality?
No. ASL Market does not physically inspect goods and does not guarantee quality. Ask for samples, photos and lab reports, book an independent inspection if you need one, and rely on escrow until you confirm receipt. See /guides/pre-shipment-inspection-iran.
Are the prices on listings final?
Listing prices show what suppliers are asking. The final price, quantity, freight and Incoterm are confirmed by the supplier for your order before you pay.
Is it legal for me to import from Iran?
ASL Market does not give legal advice. Import rules differ by country; check your own country's rules on trade with Iran before you order.
How do I contact support?
Contact support on Telegram (@alirezaasll), WhatsApp (+98 912 021 1407) or through a support ticket on the site. Support does not use e-mail.
